MadBoot Disk Creator Utility

Anybody have any experience with this app? It's reccommended by Call For Help on TechTV. Here's the article on it:madboot Sounds pretty cool. I followed the link to download the app but their site won't come up. So . . . anyone heard of it?

Thenks Wise One. However,since my digital cable TV box went to bypass a bit while ago and won't come out no matter how hard I poke st it with my broom handle, methinks is a Cox Cable/network problem. I'm on terminal hold with the good folks at Cox help right now listening to elevator music and a seemingly nice lady telling me that my call is very important to them and thanking me my patience I'll let ya know how it all turns out.

 

Hmmm, may BE a network prob, but I tried the link in the article and got

512 Temporarily Down

messages for every version of the link I tried -- cutting it back and adding guesses to it. And today, I tied my link AND the article link, and the whole site seems to be up and running again.

Yep, I did and got through just now (Sun. 4:30 pm.), but the site runs and loads very slooooooooooowly. I did get to read the descriptions of the stuff there and the bootup disks look neato. I'll wait until the site speeds up a bit and then try to download the ones for XP Home. They'd be handy to have on a cd. Thanks for all your efforts on my behalf Wiz, I appreciate it a lot.

 

I had that slooooow behavior last night when I finally got into it, too, but this afternoon, it was fast and responsive.

Try off times, like late at night, maybe.
