My family and I have decided that Outlook Express is a crappy waste of disk space.
I NEED A NEW MAIL CLIENT. WE HATE WEBMAIL, TOO.
It needs to have multiple identity support, you gotta be able to click your name and type in a password, not type in your name, no password.
    SMPT and POP3 support required!

Usually, when I get fed up w/all the others, no matter what os I'm using, I go back to thunderbird, which is clean, simple, and works...Mozilla puts it out ... I don't know about passwords, as I don't use'em, but anyway, best wishes...

Why not all have separate user account for the computer and then just have your own mail account in Outlook Express?

    A> I used thunderbird, it's single identity.
B> It is the family computer. We don't more than one profile.

We have a family computer and have login accounts for everyone. It makes far more sense as it's easier to organise documents and have settings customised to everyone's likings.
The only thing I imagine you could do when setting up the mail accounts is to not enter the passwords for mail login and so a password would be required every time you send/receive mail. However this would not stop other people from reading saved emails.
