   When I try to send mail from my desktop using send - mail recipient. I get mail.ur in Russian, have tried changing in default settigs , tried Google for help, cannot seem to get rid of this mess. Any help appreciated. I have Win. 8.1 using internet explorer.

   If your default mail is not .RU then I would suspect malware as the cause of your issues, and to that end run the below as written.
