I've currently had this annoying google redirect virus on my system that I could not get rid of, that's until I downloaded and installed Avast! Internet Security. Now, the Google redirect(s) have stopped, but once I ran a scan with Avast!, I've been alarmed of more seriously issues. GAC_desktop.ini 32/64 and system32\services.exe and some installer issues in my app data, please help. Here are all of my logs.

    Don't forget, I had typed:

Here's what you asked for, sorry, must have overlooked them. And as far as I can tell, everything looks fine to me, my Avast! Internet security doesn't notify me of the viruses as soon as I log on anymore, my computer boots of extremely fast and loads just as fast, and I've noticed that my memory usage meter and CPU meter isn't extremely high anymore. But one thing I have noticed is that when I attempt to run Windows Update, it alerts me that I can't because my services had not started or something. I don't know if that had something to do with the viruses or not...

Did everything you've asked me to, but the logs each saved as 3, 4, and 5. Here they are.
And I couldn't locate [PROXY IE] HKCU\[...]\Internet Settings : ProxyServer (174.37.201.242:80) -> FOUND under the registry tab. What to do :(

Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    • R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = 174.37.201.242:80
    • R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = plimus.com;www.plimus.com;regnow.com;www.regnow.com;*.local
    • R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {e50824fb-26d1-4be3-9cfe-002ca0991c3d} - (no file)
    • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB} - (no file)

    After clicking Fix exit HJT.

    http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/9659/rktigzy.gif Fix items using RogueKiller.

Double-click RogueKiller.exe to run. (Vista/7 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
When it opens, press the Scan button
Now click the Registry tab and locate these 2 detections:
    • [PROXY IE] HKCU\[...]\Internet Settings : ProxyServer (174.37.201.242:80) -> FOUND

When it is finished, there will be a log on your desktop called: RKreport[2].txt
Attach RKreport[2].txt to your next message. (How to attach)
    Reboot the machine.

    • Now run RogueKiller again - no fix! Just a scan and attach that log too.
    • Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. (Right click and run as admin if using Vista or Windows7) Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.
    • Let me know of any problems you may have encountered with the above instructions and also let me know how things are running now!

Everything went well, however, I still can not find this particular filed listed under the registry tab after I complete the scan. >>>[PROXY IE] HKCU\[...]\Internet Settings : ProxyServer (174.37.201.242:80) -> FOUND<<<

You can ask about that in the software forum. :) Or you could try this.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/What-is-the-System-Update-Readiness-Tool

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Go back to step 6 of the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    4. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    5. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    6. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    7. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    8. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    9. If you are running Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures pointed to by step 7 of the READ ME
for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    10. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
