Major Attitude / Seinfeld fans

Seinfeld #4 is out, got it at Target today.

i'll pick it up when i have the money... i'm an avid Seinfeld fan but i never find myself watching the DVD's... its' weird...

 

I watched Seinfeld for years. Funny thing...the show was funny, despite the fact that JS himself wasn`t. It was everyone else that made the show work....Jerry was as boring as he could possibly be.

 

I disagree,Seinfeld's part in the show was the observational comedy part,his comedy rest in logic,the rest of the casts rests in physical comedy and being unreasonable,the exact opposite of jerry.

Observational comedy gives you a sense of satisfaction when realize "oh yeh,its true",its hard to compete with someone falling down some stairs or through a door,Seinfeld has them both thats what makes the show work.

 

Everyone has their own taste/prefrences...personally (and speaking for myself AND star) neither one of us can tolerate sitting through even one episode of Seinfeld. LOL To each his own

 

Oddly enough Abby, when I first started watching it I didn't like it either. Took awhile I think, but the more I watched I really became a fan.

Kudos to you Steve for being able to do that! lol We've tried a few times to watch it but can never make it through a whole episode. We end up changing the channel or turning the TV off and heading out the door or to our computers..it just doesn't hold our interest long enough to get through it so our minds wander to other things.

 

Having been unfortunate enough to "win" ??? tickets to see Seinfeld in person...I still maintain he`s as boring as can be. On the bright side it was among the best 55 minutes of sleep I`ve ever had in my life.

I've had to watch it though to know what all these programs are about. Imagine landing in a place and not one single TV program you recognise. It's taken me ages to work through the popular ones to know what the heck everyone is talking about!

 

Got it when it first came out from Walmart.com for $30. None of the stores could compare with that price. I love observational humor. It's funny how shows like Seinfeld and The Simpsons have become engrained in my everyday life (kind of like Shakespeare's effect on the world...).
