Ok I have major problems here. My computer is acting really wierd. I have all the software needed to keep my computer safe yet things still happen, and Yes all the programs stay up to date. First off my computer kept crashing, then it completely crashed and i had to restart it with the windows cds that came with it because it completely shut down and could not find the operating system. And it says that I have alot of trojan alerts but when i scan there is nothing there. The main one i get the most says this:

    While opening file: ?
    Trojan horse SHeur.KVM

That is the main one I get, and it will not let me send to vault, heal or anything else but ignore it. When I try to heal or move to vault I get the same message : Requested action is not availible for this object An error 0x8007007b occured, but like I said when I do a scan there is nothing there. I have done everything in my power to fix it and nothing works, now My computer freezes alot and still I cant find the reason. I have gotten the trojan and worm removers and still nothing it acts as if my computer does not want me to find the problem. Also there is an error pop up everynow and then about an OPApp. Say to press ok to terminate or cancel to debug. I am very confused and dont know what to do. Someone any one please help me solve this problem, I go to school and work on this same computer so i need a solution.:cry:cry:confused:confused If you know what I should do please repost or email me at.
    Thanks very much.

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

I am moving your thread to the Malware section ....

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around.
    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:
      • CounterSpy
      • AVG Antispyware log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy
      • Bitdefender - from step 6
      • Panda Scan - from step 6
      • runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
      • newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
      • HijackThis
NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!

What do you mean by trying to reformat and install?
    Why wouldn't it let you?
It may be possible that your hard drive is going bad. Do you have another computer that you can slave that drive to? You could then get your data off and check the drive.

Do you know how to do a "repair installation"?
boot into the xp cd ...let it load ...f8 to the agreement ...first option is repair or install, choose install ...it will find your previous installation, and you can then choose Repair (R) rather than new install ....let it rip ....

As stated before...it may be that your hard drive is faulty and you need to slave it to another computer...open the case and make sure that the connections are solid ...if so, try removing it, jumpering it to slave and putting it into another computer.
