I Have Tried to Remove These But Many Of Them Just Keep Reinstalling Themselves.

Another Question? Should I Remove Lightning Download & Desktop Armor?

If You Have Any Ideas or Tips To Help Get My Computer Malware & Virus Free Please Post Them.

    ANY Help Would Be Appreciated.

    Thanks In Advance

Is this the same PC as in your other thread? (It looks different!)

    http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=87680

Please complete responding to that thread unless you have already finished all the instructions and require no more help with that PC (which would have been nice to know).

I see no reason why you cannot attach a log. I also do not understand why you cannot use the online scanners.

Also HijackThis must be installed properly (which you did not do in your other thread either). Please follow directions in the stickies and install HJT properly. Then try attaching a new HJT log. Until it is installed properly, we are not going to continue.

Yes, This Is A Different Computer

I wanted to Mention Another Symptom of This Malware
I Bought Norton Antivirus 2006 and I can't install because of a fatal error.
It worked just fine on the laptop though.

    Any Ideas?

I Think I got HJT Fixed Now Sorry About That.

It could be due to the malware on your PC but I don't know that for sure. You would be better off using something else though. Norton will slow your PC down a ton. But that's your decision. Also if you bought and installed it on another PC already, you are violating the license agreement by installing it on a second PC (unless you purchased multiple or a site license).

Make sure viewing of hidden files is enabled (per the tutorial).

Please run HijackThis and click on the Open the Misc Tools Section button on the open page. Then select Open process manager on the left-hand side. Look for the following process (or processes) and one at a time kill them by selecting it and then click Kill process. Then click yes.
    C:\Program Files\winsupdater\winsupdater.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlog.exe

After killing all the above processes, click Back.
Then please click Scan and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = local.,
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {DE3A0297-5EFF-4FF2-A48D-ABBC67D4D774} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [winsupdater] C:\Program Files\winsupdater\winsupdater.exe /auto
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [] winlog.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [] winlog.exe
    O18 - Filter: text/html - (no CLSID) - (no file)
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: WRNotifier - WRLogonNTF.dll (file missing)

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.
Boot into safe mode and use Windows Explorer to delete
    :
    C:\Program Files\winsupdater <--- the whole folder
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlog.exe

If you get an error when deleting a file. Right click on the file and check to see if the read only attribute is checked. If it is, uncheck it and try again. Other wise open Task Manager and kill the process if running then delete the file.

Now if running Win XP goto c:\windows\Prefetch and delete all files in this folder.
Now run Ccleaner (installed while running the READ ME FIRST)
    .

Now we need to Reset Web Settings:
    1. If you have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, goto step 2. If not, skip to step 3.
    2. Now right click on your desktop Internet Explorer icon and select Properties. Then click the Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK. Then skip step 3.
    3. If you do not have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, click Start, Control Panel (for some systems it may be Start, Settings, Control Panel), Internet Options, Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK.
Now reboot in normal mode and post a new HJT log.

Make sure you tell me how things are working now.

Reminder Note: Once we have determined you are malware free you will need to disable System Restore, reboot, and re-enable system restore per step 1 of the READ & RUN ME. This only applies to if using WinXP or WinMe.

If I Don't Use Norton 2006 what should I use? Just Keep Windows Defender?

Should I Download Mozilla Firefox or Keep Using IE7?

I was able to completely kill
    C:\Program Files\winsupdater\winsupdater.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlog.exe
and get the HJT log fixed without any problems.

But when i went here c:\windows\Prefetch there were no files to delete. Is That Weird or Okay?

There was no reset web settings under programs either? So there is something wrong there to.

The computer is running better know and doesn't ask me to end process of winsupdater.exe
when i Shut It Down. So I think we are getting closer.

Thanks for all your help so far.

I'll give you a link to a How to protect thread later.

No opinions yet but don't forget IE7 is a beta. It's up to you. Use what you like and feel comfortable with. Once you are properly protected and educated, it should not matter.
    .
But when i went here c:\windows\Prefetch there were no files to delete. Is That Weird or Okay?

Yes that is very unusal. Not sure why.

    Now just delete the below:
    C:\WINDOWS\keyboard1.dat
    C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\Windows <--- the folder

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to go back to step 1 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points. Then reboot and enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.

After that, you should work thru the below link (which contains free antivirus applications you can use and a firewall too. A firewall is a must!)

How to Protect yourself from malware!
