Major Problem

I know the rules and I usually use them all the time to fix most problems, but this time is different.

The problem consists on my father's laptop. Everytime I try to access, majorgeeks, Ad-Aware, Spybot, or any other place that I can download tools I am redirect to several pages with errodns[dot]com being the most common one.

I've did what I could from the directions with what was already on there, but nothing is working. Having a hardtime with all the pop-ups and even harder time accessing the web.

When you open IE it re-directs the homepage to yourieproject[dot]com and there is a toolbar called "Protection Bar" that is there, which wasn't there before.

I really wish I could upload the logs and everything to help ya, but I can't from the laptop and I don't want to transfer to disk/floppy and do it from my computer.

So if there is anything ya'll can do, please I'm open for any and all suggestions.

Without the logs there is not much we can do for you except just keep telling to to run every scanning tool that we can think of until your problems go away (which they probably would not).

You need to save all the logs and transfer them to your other PC (by any method you like) and upload them here. The likelyhood of getting infected by just transferring these text files is low. Based on your first message it sounds like you need to copy some tools to the infected PC first.
