Hi guys, trying to resolve a pretty annoying issue, basically i was having a BSOD problem followed by a complete no POST failure, so i rebuilt with a new case, an MSI 770 C45 mobo, Phenom 2 X4 965BE, 2GB Corsair 1333mhz RAM, and a brand new GTS250 as replacement for what i thought was a failing 9800GTX+, anyway even with my new build i'm still getting no POST and no signal on my 32 inch Philips LCD TV, i have tried everything and its depressing me...oh i'm still using my old 320gig hitachi deskstar SATA HDD and a cheapy 650w PSU i got from ebuyer.com. Thanks in advance for any help guys

Doh, I almost forgot to mention this as I know it will probably help, but my current PSU is an Atrix 650w, I looked at the side of the PSU earlier and I noticed the 2 12v rails only total 29A combined, now I read somewhere that even the Geforce 8 series graphics cards require 30A to run, also I read somewhere else about this guy who had EXACTLY my problem to the letter, he changed the PSU and the problem disappeared.

    Could be the problem.

What brand is it? Can you provide a link to it?

    Can you try a friends?

Thanks for your response Burrell, it is an Atrix 650w PSU, bought from ebuyer approximately 4 years ago, which I think will make finding a link impossible, as will borrowing a friends, I have ordered a 600w Ocz Stealth XStream which has 4 12V rails equalling a combined 72A, think this will resolve my problem?

    Thanks again

having 4 12v rails is not always the best, having on single 12v rail is much more stable. You dont have to balance the usage on each rail.

Anyway, it is hard to explain, but Digerati here has taken the time explain in full detail.

Please take the time to read this.

But as a general rule of thumb, go for Corsair, Seasonic or OCZ.

Ok cool, so you say it's best to have a single 12V, but does having 4 12Vs matter that much? I just want better than 2 12V equalling a paltry 29A really, and the OCZ I have ordered has 72A total. One other thing worth mentioning is my keyboard is completely off when I try powering up, but strangely a USB gaming device I use (Belkin N52TE speedpad) is lit up as normal, indicating power is going to it.
