Majorgeeks irc?

I just now did a quick search on IRC. Is there an IRC channel for majorgeeks? If not, no problem, if so, where?

 

Ah, okay, about the only irc channel I go to is windows95 found off of the dalnet network. Been going there since 1999. Quite a few very intelligent individuals there....besides myself

 

I think once we were thinking of putting together a teamspeak session every week, that never happened tho. too bad, i just snagged a new logitec cam and mic

 

....and I just bought a mic hehe.
I use teamspeak for gaming, particularly Battlefield 2, I think we should do it at some point!

 

An IRC chat sounds good to me. I would love to talk in real time with my friends here.

 

Or we could easily just make a yahoo chat room, where we could all go, that way we wouldn't have to download anything.

I see nothing wrong with irc. Maybe because I've used it for so many years.

Nice thing about it, is this....you are helping someone. They try certain things you suggest, and boom, it is done. Other times, brb reboot. But, it does have its disadvantages. Posting pictures...

No matter, I'm fairly new to these parts (MG). Don't know the politicks.....

 

I think it would be easier if it were a voice conference type of thing, talking is easier than typing

 

Hm, in my experience, people are much shyer when put in a position to talk instead of type...But we could try both and see which one is better.

 

well we could always find something that has both, that way we could have more ppl too.
