make file smaller!

    hey all i was wondering if there is a way to make a file smaller to fit it onto one of my post's in this site

    the file is just a map i drew on microsoft paint but it is 933kb and it willl only allow 97.7 kb

    any help would be apreciated thanks alot all

    try saving as a JPG instead of a bitmap or TIF

    open you file in Paint, goto File > Save As > then in the save as type dropdown menu pick JPEG I would be tempted to rename your file/picture before clicking Save tho.
