Making a basic program.

Hi,

I was just wanting to make a basic program, ie program with a text box and submit button.

Was just wondering what i would use to make this and where I could find any tutorials?

Are you looking for a web form? or an exe?
Where do you want the text submitted?

 

looking for an exe, and im not sure i just wanted to learn

 

This is very similar to Visual Basic:

The way its done:
Under Edit > Insert Dialog... CRTL-I
A blank window pops up with a tool box, select the items you want and draw them on the form, when your done hit 'X' to close the window you created and
'Yes' to insert the code.
Last click on Wait in the left hand side and select infinite, you code should look like:

Display Window 'New dialog' (ID='', ID='', ID='', ID='', ID='', ID='', Max. enabled)
Display Control Text box: 'Input1' (ID='Input1')
Display Control Button: 'Submit' (ID='Button1')
Wait infinite...

Go to the top and hit the green "Play" button & the code will run.

 

learn some batch to get comfortable with linear scripting. then maybe some vb or what foogoo suggested.
