Making the left column extend to the bottom

Questions regarding HTML:
In the below site how can i make the left yellow bar containing those links extend to the lower part of the page.

At present there is a white space below the yellow bar and i want to omit that white space with that yellow color.

Are you sure you weren't looking at a cached version of the site after you made the changes that Kodo suggested?

 

My first one worked ok in IE so I had to fix it for Moz too. That's in my second post.
