I have vundo and winfixer problem.

I am following your malaware removal guide but the directions are not quite right and when I use counterspy I get lost trying to follow directions to copy the scan history. Should I continue?

I was continuing with bitdefender, but it only works wit IE but I am using firefox. What do I do?

PLEASE HELP

Hi

To get the Counterspy log,

To access the CounterSpy scan log...

1. View >> Spyware Scan >> Spyware Scan History

2. Select the scan you'd like to view

3. Hit "View Details"

4. Copy and paste the relevant portions into a Notepad text mesage for later attachment.

as for Bitdefender, use IE, you have malware and using firefox didnt help prevent the malware in the first place so using IE will not cause more issues, but getting a scan from Bitdefender will help the malware guys remove the nasties.

I apologize for my ignorance, but the counterspy does not have the view toolbar. I also using the version that was posted and could not upgrade the latest version of counterspy.

I an running counterspy in safe mode and could not see any toolbar when I enter counterspy

You can use the IETab to run scanners without closing Firefox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

It embeds Internet Explorer in tabs of Mozilla/Firefox.
