    Hi,

I'm looking for some help to clean up my Laptop.
First it was clearly infested with malware since I got opening pop ups at almost any mouse clicks over almost anywhere and in any of my two browsers (Explorer and Chrome).
Then I went through the complete process under the RUN & READ ME FIRST
and it went a little better.

But I noticed that some steps were only to create logs and not to execute any fix under the different tools. So I assume my computer is still infested.

At least the starting page in my browsers is still redirecting to a different site than google. This is some "Quick Start" site.

I'm attaching all the logs required, hoping you can help me to finally clean it up.

Hi there and welcome. :) Before we begin the fix, can you tell me, are you purposely set up to use a proxy?

    Hi
    Thanks for the reply
Not at all. In fact I have disabled the proxy option at IE

First of all sorry for the delay in responding. :)

Uninstall the below: (If they do not uninstall let me know and just continue on)

    • Optimizer Pro v3.2
    • SafeFinder Smartbar

    http://img805.imageshack.us/img805/9659/rktigzy.gif Fix items using RogueKiller.

Double-click RogueKiller.exe to run. (Vista/7/8 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
When it opens, press the Scan button
Now click the Registry tab and locate these detections:

Place a checkmark next to each of these items, leave the others unchecked.
    Now press the Delete button.

...and the same for these items on the task tab please....

    • [Suspicious.Path] Groovorio Updater.job -- C:\Users\DANIEL~1\AppData\Roaming\GROOVO~1\UPDATE~1\UPDATE~1.EXE (/Check) -> FOUND
    • [Suspicious.Path] \\Groovorio Updater -- C:\Users\DANIEL~1\AppData\Roaming\GROOVO~1\UPDATE~1\UPDATE~1.EXE (/Check) -> FOUND

When it is finished, there will be a log on your desktop called: RKreport[2].txt
Attach RKreport[2].txt to your next message. (How to attach)
    Reboot the machine.

Now re run Hitman Pro and have it remove all that it can find.

    Download and run OTM.

Download OTM by Old Timer and save it to your Desktop.

    Code:
    :Files
    C:\Users\Daniela Osorio\AppData\Local\nsmDF78.tmp
    C:\ProgramData\CCoupScanner
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Optimizer Pro v3.2
    C:\Program Files (x86)\AnyProtectEx
    C:\Program Files (x86)\globalUpdate
    C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPC Backup
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Optimizer Pro
    C:\Program Files (x86)\predm
    C:\Windows\tasks\APSnotifierPP1.job
    C:\Windows\tasks\APSnotifierPP2.job
    C:\Windows\tasks\APSnotifierPP3.job
    C:\Users\DANIEL~1\AppData\Roaming\GROOVO~1

    :Commands
    [emptytemp]
    [Reboot]
    • Return to OTM, right click in the Paste List of Files/Folders to Move window (under the yellow bar) and choose Paste.
    • Push the large http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2782/4174320048_f01c448b32_o.png button.
    • OTM may ask to reboot the machine. Please do so if asked.
    • Copy everything in the Results window (under the green bar), and paste it into a text file to ATTACH into your next reply.

NOTE: If you are unable to copy/paste from this window (as will be the case if the machine was rebooted), open Notepad (Start->All Programs->Accessories->Notepad), click File->Open, in the File Name box enter *.log and press the Enter key, navigate to the C:\_OTM\MovedFiles folder, and open the newest .log file present, and attach the contents of that document back here in your next post.

http://imageshack.us/a/img841/7292/thisisujrt.gif Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista or Seven, right-mouse click it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Attach JRT.txt to your next message.

Re run both Hitman Pro and RogueKiller and attach logs from each. (Just scans this time)

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. (Right click and run as admin if using Vista, Windows7 or Win8) Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.

Let me know of any problems you may have encountered with the above instructions and also let me know how things are running now!

Thanks for your help. I tried to follow all your instructions...

First I was not able to uninstall the first two programs. SIoI Just kept moving forward with the indications.

The Roguer killer didn't display all the registers on your post. But whatever I found that matched I checked it and delete it.

After running all the fixes at Hitman Pro and other applications, I'm sure many bugs were removed, however I still have this starting page in my browsers that I cannot remove by going to the browsers options. the address is:

    http://www.istart123.com/?type=sc&ts=1407098413&from=tugs&uid=ST9640423AS_5WS1KC7ZXXXX5WS1KC7Z

Attached the logs before and after running the programs...

    Thanks for your intructions

    Trying to uninstall didn't work.

On the Rogue Killer scan not all the register on your post were there, but whatever I found that match I deleted. (No tasks found, only regs)

I let the HitmanPro do its job and followed up the next steps.
Many bugs must have been deleted there...

However I still have this starting page in my browsers that I cannot change by going to the options.

    Logs before and after attached.
