Malware Again!

    Darn Kids. I think it's coming from Facebook or Zynga but this is the second time my computer's been infected. Problems started shortly after they were playing on those two sites. Many many blue screens predominately when uploading images with an Adobe Lightroom plug-in. Pretty much the same symptoms as before.

    I followed the malware removal instructions, followed the Vista Cleaning Procedure (64bit) and ran SAS, Malwarebytes and MGTools as well as Bit Defender. Nothing showed up at all.

    Requested logs are attached.

    I am not seeing any malware in your logs. The BSOD's should be pursued in the software forum. What malware issues are you having?

    When this last happened, with the same symptoms of crashes while using Adobe Lightroom, Bit Defender caught: C:\Program Files (x86)\Photodex\ProShowGold\pxf\autorun.inf Trojan.AutorunINF.Gen and Malwarebytes got : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\NoActiveDesktopChanges (Hijack.DisplayProperties)

    Once those two items were detected and deleted the problems went away. Same symptoms, same problems so I thought.

    One could be a FP, though I am not familiar with Adobe Lightroom. You can stop autoruns by using this program:
    AutoEater.

    If your crashes continue when just using Adobe Lightroom, then I would suspect there is a software conflict rather than a malware issue. ( I am of course assuming that it is a legit version. )
