Malware Attack - Help Please.

I was trying to track a UPS shipment and got a malware attack. The link is searchtrackmypackagefast.com.

I did a google search and discovered that Malwarebytes is supposed to detect and remove/quarantine it.

I ran Malwarebytes and quarantined it but it's still plaguing me today. Clicking a known safe site (majorgeeks, etc.) produces a survey that may be collecting undisclosed scam details.

How do I remove it?

My apologies Don, it can be challenging in this situation following the pro course sometimes, but thats only because TimW probably had a hand in its design.

If possible, download HitmanPro from this link https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/hitman_pro.html
and run it. (Choose the 'once only scan for this PC' rather than install the prog)

If you want you can attach the log file it creates post scan, and attach it to your next post.....How to Attach items to your Post!
If not, just delete all it finds and see if this improves things?

If the issue is replicating Don, I can only recommend the Pro Course of removal!

The Malware Team here are well versed at eradication.

Take it in chunks, step by step, and if you run into problems, let them know.....they will help.

If possible, get a local Tech in your area to assist with the procedures required.
