    Hello,
My I'm running XP Media edition with SP2. I ran thru read me first (realizing after I finished that I ran counterspy instead of windows defender...) Also I could not get Panda Active Scan to install.

I can ping fine from a cmd prompt and I can get on the web in safe mode. I've posted my logs including blacklight... can anyone tell what the heck is blocking the browser from accessing the the web in normal mode???? thanks in advance for your help.

There are no indications of an infection in your logs.

The installed version of Java on this compter is out-dated. Install version 1.5.0_07 available from http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp. Uninstall all older versions of Java on your computer, before installing the latest version of Java.

    Check your firewall settings.
