Malware Destructor V4.5

I had something call Malware Destructor V4.5 on my PC and can't seem to get it completely removed. I have already tried steps from some other help forums and I no longer get the pop ups that have erroneous virus reports but I do still get warnings from my anti virus software at various times. I have Trend PC Chillin and it is up to date as of Sunday 12/09/07 which is a full day after I got the Malware Destructor. What the problem is I will be working and out of the blue I get a pop up from Trend PC Chillin warning me I have a suspicious file advising me to halt internet traffic but there seems to be no way to clean the file. When I run a scan in Trend PC Chillin with the boxes checked to search for Malware, Spyware, Adware, Grayware the scan results are always clean but then sooner or later I get a new pop up from Trend. Any one have any suggestions?

 

This may be resolved, I heard back from Trend and they suggested that I do the following:
1. Turn off system restore (Which I had not done)
2. Update to the latest spyware patterns (Which I had done)
3 Reboot to safe mode and run the virus/spyware scan in safe mode (which I had not done)
After doing this I have been one twice and as of yet have not had anymore trouble but I have printed out the READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide and if the problem happens again I will try that.
