I just downloaded this file from the downloads page here at MG about an hour ago, http://www.majorgeeks.com/Cain_&_Abel_d5062.html , as usal, I run my avast av to check before installing the program. Avast reported that the file had malware WIN32:Cain-B [Tool]
Is this acutally a virus or malware, or is this program ok to install?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There is nothing wrong with the file you downloaded. Due to the nature of what it is used for, Avast is reporting it as being suspicious. If you downloaded and installed a valid keylogger, all of your scanners would more than likely complain!
