Malware etc ?

    Hey guys & girls, im currently using Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE Personal and Spyware Dr version 4, would like to know if i was to use both these programs in their latest Beta versions what advantages, safety, etc does one get from using these versions. Ived not used any programs in Beta and just curious as to advantages or not ? Many thanks, Roseman07... P.s i still can' get my dvd rom working have done as suggested on forum to no avail, may have to just purchase another dvd rw player, they are resonably priced at moment in OZ, can someone suggest a reliable brand ?     To be honest Roseman, I would wait until the final releases of these programs as with all betas their are likely to be bugs, and in the case of Ad-Aware 7 you will have to re-download a new beta version each week.

    As for the DVD did you try the last suggestion in your thread as to deleting the DVD device from Device Manager and rebooting to allow the OS to pickup the drive again? but continue that discusion in that thread http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=120340

    I favour LiteON drives.
