Malware found in Lan Tool?

    After downloading AVG Anti-Spyware it found Lan Tool\pauz.exe
    infected with Downloader.Small at high risk. I've used Lan Tool with this in quarantine and it ran fine.
    Question is- can i get rid of lan tool\pauz.exe with out it messing lan tool up?

    nvm I got rid of it anyway...Lan Tool is still working fine
