Your two last threads will need to be merged into one thread. Someone will do that for you. You already posted in a third thread earlier and have started working on another computer with TimW. So far, you've not given any details for either computer as to what is wrong. Please, in this thread where you are reading now, hit the Post Reply button and describe which computer this is and what trouble it is having. Are both of these your computers? Does one belong to a friend or relative? To keep from getting mixed up, you need to complete the computer you started with TimW and give it some sort of a name so that neither you nor any of us becomes mixed up. Once you've completed the first computer, we will then start on this one.

I'll call this one Comp 2.

Your HijackThis was installed in the wrong folder and wasn't renamed. You put it here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Ed Reid\Local Settings\Temp\HijackThis.exe

Please install it where it belongs under C:\Program Files\HijackThis\analyse.exe
Make sure it's renamed from hijackthis.exe to analyse.exe as shown in the previous sentence.
After that, please rerun it and post a new log.
