malware help

    My system has recently been running extremely slow with popups and constant hard disk access. I've run the programs that you've recommended and it appeared to clean some. but the system is still slow. I'm posting the log files.

    Sorry about the delete. Obviously you were overlooked somehow.

    I don't see any malware problems on your PC. You will need to look elsewhere for whatever is slowing you down. Describe exactly what operations are slow? Your problems may just be due to using a Sony PC which shows to have about 20 services running full time. Exactly why the heck do they need all of these services. Are they nuts?

    I do see that you are running without any protection software installed. You have no antivirus, no antispyware realtime blocker and you only have the Vista firewall which is not really adequate. Adding these will howver also cause additional resource use and in effect also slow you down more.
