You need to attach the log from running MGTools --> C:\MGLogs.zip

No! The HJT log is one of the logs within the MGLogs.zip. Please attach the C:|MGLogs.zip!

I have attached the zip file you requested...it had stored it in the root of my c drive...I was looking in the wrong location

I think I still have a problem...it said in the link box that I already have attached that file in a previous post...I tried to remove my attached files and send you the MG Zip file....but It will not let me send it to you and I have no idea on how to "clean" up my previous attachments....?

The only MG log that was previously attached was the ones you attached in the previous malware thread that I helped you with.

So you need to run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file.

And I see that MBAM found items in your system restore folder, so I can only assume that you may not have followed our final cleanup procedures and toggled system restore. Did you follow the advice for How to Protect Yourself from Malware>

I think you helped me some time ago with some malware problesm. I read and followed your instructions to the letter, I down loaded and printed them out and went step by step. I am sorry If I have been a bother, I never wanted these problems...I just happen to hit the wrong black friday coupon site, and it caused me some problems

You are not a bother.....I just want to make sure that when we finish you do follow my final cleanup instructions and make sure you stay safe.

Is Counterspy a paid for or trial version? If trial please uninstall it.

    Also uninstall:
    Viewpoint Media Player

Now Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
NOTE: HJT may popup an error about the AppInit_DLLs line. Ignore it and click OK to continue.

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
NOw use windows explorer to find and delete:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\setb58.tmp

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file and let me know how things are running.
