    greetings all
I'm a newbie to the forum and I appreciate any assistance
one of my home computers was recently invaded by some spyware/malware
I realized the problem when I signed on to my EBay account, a very suspicious looking page opened that was asking for all manner of personal info: credit cards, atm acct, pin #'s, bank accounts, etc. - all the stuff that EBay would have no business knowing.
I immediately closed the page and went to another computer to change my Ebay password.
I then ran SpyBot on the afflicted computer which identified a problem: "Torpig" (I think that was the name - I'm not at that computer right now!) SpyBot was unable to remove the problem, even on restart. I also ran Defender, AdAware & AOL Spyware - but none of these even ID'd the problem. I found 2 offending files in C:/Windows/temp - but was unable to delete them because they were "in use by another user or computer"
    any suggestions
    thanks
    Glenn
