    Malware- Lenovo- 2010.01.03

Malware was detected by the Antivirus Programme but was unable to be deleted. Herewith I am attaching the necessary Logs for your advice.

As there was a problem with the current version of the Combofix and was not available, I ran an old version of it in the reduced functionality mode.

I would also be grateful if you can advice me on how to prevent such malware from infecting the computer.

    Thanking You.

    Yours truly,
    Manilka

I am not seeing any malware in your logs. Have you updated Avira lately? They were having issues with some false positives a little while back and corrected them.

What exactly was reported....again, I need the exact path to the item?

After updating the Avira on Saturday, 16th January 2010, the message of detecting viruses no longer came up and after running the weekly scans, no Malware was detected.

    You are amazing!
