My computer has been running very slow, locking up, and I've been getting many pop ups. I suspected this is some type of malware so I proceded to remove per the Malware Removal Guide. My computer is still experiencing the same problems but they are getting worse. I will attach all the required files. I was not able to run CounterSpy but I was able to run AVG Anti-Spyware and I've attached that file...I named it AVGSpy.txt. Please help.

You're problems do not appear to be due to malware. Your logs are clean. I do have some minor things for you to do which will change your current performance a little.

Run HijackThis and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    R3 - URLSearchHook: Yahoo! Toolbar - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HP Software Update] "C:\Program Files\HP\HP Software Update\HPWuSchd.exe"
    O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing)
    O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: @xpsp3res.dll,-20001 - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing)

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Since you have Ad-Aware SE Plus that provides active protection, uninstall both CounterSpy and AVG Antispyware now.

Uninstall the below old versions of software:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 4

Make sure you reboot after uninstalling the above!

If you are still experiencing problems, you should post in the software forum.

I see no evidence that would indicate an infections. Nor do I see any reason for popups!

Are you sure you are still getting popus?
If so, when and how often?
Are they only when on certain sites?
Do they occur in safe mode?
Do they occur without a connection to the internet?

Thank you. The popups don't occur in safe mode and they haven't been occurring this morning.

When you are in safe mode does your PC allow network connectivity? i.e., can you access the internet?

Run this Disable/Remove Windows Messenger to remove Windows Messenger.

Windows Messenger has long been a cause of popups on PC so doing the above could be useful.
