Malware removal error

I installed all the programs and once I got to Combo fix it displayed a message that said my security connections were still connected. It was getting late and I was getting pop ups saying another program wanted to make changes and if I wanted to allow them. I was clicking yes and then got frustrated and quit. Plus, I could not figure out how to disable the superantispyware program.
Should I disable the connections and start the steps over again or unistall the programs and start from scratch?
