Can anyone find anything harmful on the attached logs? Bitedefender came up with nothing wrong.

    Thank you.

    Welcome to MGs!

Did you miss step 0 of the READ & RUN ME?

I see Need2Find in your Panda log and also your HJT log shows Weather Bug. These are both in included in the list of programs to uninstall. Let me know if you find them in Add/Remove programs. Need2Find may not be there.

Is your version of Spy Sweeper a paid version? Is it up to date (what version and reference file is it)?
Have you run a full system scan with it? Please attach a log from Spy Sweeper after running a full scan?

I followed step 0 and there was nothing in my add/remove programs from the list in step 0. Weatherbug wasn't there and still isn't, although it used to be about eight months ago before I deleted it. Out of the three things Panda caught, I've removed Need2find from the registry and the tribalfusion cookie.

Spysweeper is the paid version, 4.5.9 (Build 709), with definitions up to date. I ran a full scan before and removed, like 55 things. I ran it again for you and attached a log...
Everything it picked up I told it to delete.

But it still appears in your HJT log!

Make sure viewing of hidden files is enabled (per the tutorial).

Run HijackThis and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = about:blank
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = localhost
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {EA756889-2338-43DB-8F07-D1CA6FB9C90D} - (no file)
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Weather] C:\PROGRA~1\AWS\WEATHE~1\Weather.EXE 1
    O9 - Extra button: WeatherBug - {AF6CABAB-61F9-4f12-A198-B7D41EF1CB52} - C:\PROGRA~1\AWS\WEATHE~1\Weather.exe (file missing) (HKCU)
    O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} - http://software-dl.real.com/101ef60e7f20c376d806/netzip/RdxIE601.cab

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.
Boot into safe mode and use Windows Explorer to delete
    :
C:\Program Files\AWS <--- the whole folder if found
If you get an error when deleting a file. Right click on the file and check to see if the read only attribute is checked. If it is, uncheck it and try again. Other wise open Task Manager and kill the process if running then delete the file.

Now if running Win XP goto c:\windows\Prefetch and delete all files in this folder.
Now run Ccleaner (installed while running the READ ME FIRST)
    .

Now we need to Reset Web Settings:
    1. If you have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, goto step 2. If not, skip to step 3.
    2. Now right click on your desktop Internet Explorer icon and select Properties. Then click the Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK. Then skip step 3.
    3. If you do not have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, click Start, Control Panel (for some systems it may be Start, Settings, Control Panel), Internet Options, Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK.
Now reboot in normal mode and post a new HJT log.

Make sure you tell me how things are working now.

Reminder Note: Once we have determined you are malware free you will need to disable System Restore, reboot, and re-enable system restore per step 1 of the READ & RUN ME. This only applies to if using WinXP or WinMe.

One more thing to try for the Search-Exe item being found by Panda.

Copy the contents of the below Quote Box to Notepad. Then click File and then Save As. Change the Save as Type to All Files. Name the file fixme.reg and then click save. (make sure you save it somewhere you can find it. Saving it to your Desktop may make that easy.) Then double-click on the fixme.reg file on your desktop (or locate it with Windows Explorer and double click on it if not saved to the Desktop) and when it prompts to Add in to the registry, say yes.

I did what you suggested and things are still running slow, especially startup. I made my hidden folders visible since they weren't before. My startup webpage would not change from www.yahoo.com to www.majorgeeks.com, I think because sygate firewall and norton antivirus wouldn't let it.

When trying to add what you posted to my registry, the following popped up: "Cannot import C:\Documents and Settings\Kelly\Desktop\fixme.reg: The specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the registry folder."

I attached a new HJT log...

Try the registry patch again now (re-download it). I had a typo in the starting line that had REDEDIT4 instead of REGEDIT4

It was Spy Sweeper blocking the registry change for yur Startpage. Didn't you get a popup warning you of the change? Why didn't you approve it since you were the one that just made the change?

As far as your speed is concerned, that may be due to all the crap that Norton/Symantec is run. Especially junk like the below too (running 4 times)
    C:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpdate\LuCallbackProxy.exe
    C:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpdate\LuCallbackProxy.exe
    C:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpdate\LuCallbackProxy.exe
    C:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpdate\LuCallbackProxy.exe

Personally I would suggest uninstalling all of this Symantec stuff and see if it improves anything. You can always reinstall if desired later.

The registry patch seemed to speed things up quite a bit. There was never any prompt to deny access to a Startpage change, maybe because I was in Safe Mode. It just never changed.

I uninstalled everything having to do with Norton and Symantec and the computer was running very fast. I installed Norton again and that alone took about an hour. Now the computer seems slow again but I won't know for sure until it's done with a full scan that will surely take a couple hours. I think you were right about Symantec.

Alternatives to Norton are in the link below.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to go back to step 1 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points. Then reboot and enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.

After that, you should work thru the below link:

I'm probably going to go with one of the free AV's soon if I notice speed issues. I created a clean restore point. Thank you for all your help!
