    Hi everyone...

This is question is for the malware experts. I was wondering with the different types of software you guys use, what symptoms do you look for before deciding what software to use to resolve the problem.

    g'day blackcivic
not being one of the expert malware fighters here, but to my knowledge of things your best bet would be to get to know your system, keep a eye on your programs list for anything out of the usual.also your process list in the task manager again for unusual or new entries you are not sure about.generally google anything you are not sure of.`if your system is acting up like unexplained errors cropping up or freezing of applications, pop ups or redirected web browsers.actually the list of things that could happen is probably a mile long.
best bet is to scan with apps like sas and mbam on a regular basis perhaps weekly or fortnightly always have a good back up virus scanner i use avast virus cleaner, and most of all practice safe surfing and always scan your downloads and don't open attachments on emails unless you know the sender.
i am fairly sure some one else will drop by and give you some more valuable advice.hope this helps.
