Please advise me how to get rid of malware taking internet explorer to a site other than my home page when I open explorer. I ran through all cleaning in safe mode logged into my account (I did not log into administrator account & run through house cleaning--that's the only two accounts on my windows xp sp2 home edition system). Attached are logs.
    Thank you,
    Ma

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

HijackThis is not supposed to be run until you have completed all the other steps in the READ ME. According to your log, you ran it before running step 6.

Please run the below and attach the requested log:

    SpywareQuake & SpyFalcon Removal Procedure

Then attach a new HJT log.

Is your copy of Ewido a paid version or free trial?

masaithong..I have merged your threads together. Please do not start new threads for the same issue to avoid confusion. Just reply to this thread by clicking the post reply button.

Also, please when posting links that are troublesome (such as the one you keep getting redirected to) post it in a manner so it's not click-able (see my edit of your post) so that other members or visitors to MajorGeeks are not inadvertently clicking it and getting infected with malware.

    Thanks & Good luck!:)
