I first became aware that I might have a problem when I couldn't update MBAM or SAS. Then I lost my internet connection. It appeared that the DNS had been hijacked. I managed to restore the internet connection by removing the router from the network and connecting directly to the modem via ethernet.

I have run the scans and tools requested and posted my logs. I still can't get MBAM or SAS to update (the scans were run without being able to update the definitions). I'm also worried that my router has been infected and that cleaning my PC without looking at the router will just lead to reinfection when the router is reconnected.

Your logs are clean. You need to take your router and push the tiny little button on the bottom or the back to reset it to factory settings.

I suggest you uninstall both MBAM and SAS and re-install them after running CCleaner.

It is also not a good idea to allow all users to have Admin. privileges.

Tell me what other malware issues you are having.

I uninstalled SAS and MBAM, ran CCleaner, restarted a few times, and then reinstalled SAS and MBAM from fresh downloads. I still have the same problem updating. (I haven't hooked the router back up.)

SAS: "There was an error trying to receive definitions. Make sure your firewall is not blocking SUPERANTISPYWARE.EXE from accessing the internet." I disabled the firewall and tried again - same result.

MBAM: "An error occurred. Please report the following error code to the MBAM support team. Error code: 732 (2, 0). The system cannot find the file specified."

Thank you so much for the help.

I ran the online scan that found 6 files (screen shot attached). I quarantined these items, closed the online scan, then tried updating again. SAS updated without any problems. MBAM began to update, but stopped at about 8kb of 4000kb and gave error code 732 (0, 0). Another restart allowed MBAM to complete the update.

I will now attempt to reconnect the router...

All it found was cookies. Let me know if you can run both SAS and MBAM with the updates.
