hi i seem to have a little bit of a problem. first off i followed ALL the instructions in the "read me"first file. hijack this didnt find anything yet i have this annoying thing on my taskbar which keeps telling me that i may have infected files and redirects me to spywarestriker . com or something like that.
i looked at other foryms and deleted files as requested still no luck its still there.
i tried everything! system restore, rebooting in safe mode, hijack this etc etc im running out of ideas! no program will recognize it as malicious help!!

Sorry! But no you did not follow ALL the instructions. Two logs from step 6 need to be posted and the from step 7 a HijackThis log must be posted. After that, you will have followed all the steps.

Not HijackThis does not find anything. It just shows running processes and a few registry locations. It is up to the end user to figure out if things are good or bad.

So complete the READ ME and also do the below which you must do to fix your problem:

SpywareStrike, Smitfraud, SpySheriff, SpyAxe & PSGuard Removal

Make sure you attach the smitfiles.txt log to your next message too.
