malware wont go!!!

hello there doods...hows tricks?? I 'm just after some advise please...I had a years trial of Pc tools Internet security runnin on my pc..it was runnin fine until i did a full system scan..it found a couple o trojans and a bit of malware..but nothing too serious. Any way....I quarantined and deleted them except 1...it was malware...listed as a medium threat.. Pc tools couldn't delete it.. it said I had to installl spyware doctor to get rid of it....I've now gone back to avast home adition... but I've had problems properly uninstalling some programes such as pc tools internet security amongst others...I'm using revo uninstaller,, which is usually fantastic...but now.. can't get rid of all bits of the programme...has this all got to do with this malware or pctools?? I'll be happy when I can again properly uninstall Pc tools...its garbage..Anyone got any advice?? it would be gratefully recieved. thanks in advance...
