I downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from here on this site. When I try to run it I get this error message; see atachment.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening.

I had Malwarebytes Anti-Malware installed and it was running fine. Then all oof a sudden it was not showing up in the system tray. I deleted the program using iOrbit Uninstaller.

Downloaded it from here and now this error message.

Any help will be appreciated. I am using Windows 7.

And another thing.... the path that the error mentions is there. The application is there. I can right click and run as admin and I still get the error message.

Here is a link from MBAM in how to uninstall and re-install. MBAM has their own uninstall tool. Thus get the uninstall tool provided in the link and follow the instructions. Seems you got the PRO or free trial version since you mention that you had their icon in the system tray? http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=122284

It seemed that no matter what I did I could not get it to install and run without errors.

What I did was to "restore" or "roll-back" to a previous session. That fixed it (for some reason) and now I am all good.

    Thanks for helping.

Glad you got it sorted by doing a restore.
