    Yeah and without reading your link it was via a bonemarrow transplant, so medical science is weird at times, only talking about this yesterday in work while chatting over future projects.

    Experimental medicine as I work in that area is risky at best but can have some huge benefits for some, in another person this may not work, depends on many factors, so personally I would not herald this as a miracle just yet, much more data is needed from a larger group.

    The thing I like though is the guys personal story,it worked for him,before he went for the leukaemia treatment he was looking at a slow painful early death when Aids set in or sooner if the leukaemia got him.

    But not only is the leukaemia gone but the HIV also,an untreatable terminal disease,imagine knowing 100% your going to die young and then all of a sudden its fixed:)

    I heard somewhere the mortality rate for this procedure is 50% but don't quote me,just surviving the op is a major victory.
