I have a cable modem-connected PC that automatically connects to a DHCP server that is NOT my ISP's ( I checked with them to verify).

Can anyone tell me how to deal with this problem? I've searched everywhere on the net. Lots of info about the existence of the problem. No information on how to solve it.

I've used many antivirus and antispyware programs to find the source of the problem to no avail.

Click Start, Run, and enter ipconfig /flushdns and click OK!

See if this helps. I am assuming you have Win XP since you did not say.

Yes I'm running XP. I seem to connect to this rogue server when I boot up.
