Managing Windows 10 Opened Program Windows

I tend to have a lot of program windows open at once. I actually have my taskbar on the right-hand side of my monitor (I see most users keep it with the default setting so it's at the bottom). What's nice about my set up is that I can read the name of the webpage for the browser windows that are opened without having to scroll or click anywhere. But since I have a lot of shortcuts in my taskbar, I somewhat quickly fill up the taskbar that can show on one screen and so a second taskbar gets created and I have to scroll in order to view the programs displayed on the second taskbar.

it's cumbersome to have to scroll to view some of the open programs or access some of my shortcuts in the taskbar. is there a better set up for productivity in windows 10?the shortcuts to programs that aren't even opened are also taking up space in my taskbar so that's a key contributor to the problem. But, I value those easily accessible shortcuts.

I realize that there is the task view which you can use by pressing Windows key + tab. I feel that this is just extra commands and clicks without added benefit.
There's the option of having multiple desktops but this also does not tailored well to my computer habits.

 

Have you seen Groupy? https://www.stardock.com/products/groupy/ I can't think of the other program like this on offhand, I think I heard that Windows will add this feature soon.
If you like having the shortcuts on your taskbar you can create a folder and combine them. Like the old quicklinks. See the picture. Just create a folder somewhere and add all the programs or short cuts to it. Then right click the taskbar & select Toolbars > New Toolbar, browse to that folder. Once it is on the taskbar left click and you can remove titles (text) and use small icons to save room.
There is also alt + tab to switch
