Manual for Acer AL1714A monitor

This is not very likely....does anyone have a manual/user guide for an Acer AL714L 17" LCD/TFT computer monitor ?

I have been to that page and entered my 22 digit s/n and it returned with "no results". I was unable to locate any [11 digit] SNID. I couldn't find any documentation for my product. I had already contacted Acer support who gave me the the response that "[as your monitor is discontinued] we don't carry any documentatation for it". Searching through all the options under model=AL1714 yielded only drivers (which I downloaded).

Hence my original question: does anyone have a manual/user guide for an Acer AL714L 17" LCD/TFT computer monitor ?

Even if someone did/does, I don't know that uploading such a file to Major Geeks Support Forums as an attachment or otherwise is allowed. Perhaps someone who has upload capabilities to a place like MediaFire can do so and post a link in their reply for you.

Thanks. I feared that kind of upload might not be allowed by some kind of rule, for anti-malware reasons, copyright reasons, or something else. Thanks for other suggestion though. (or, maybe I thought, private communication)

Thanks for the link - it was to the installation manual only though. I was able to type in the code and believe that I downloaded it to some temporary file, so I have to find it now.

That's only the installation manual though, not really what I what I wanted, but in the right direction. I have already tried it out, and it seemed to work ok just connecting everything up. I wanted to know something about accessing the features (if any), [and, possibly for future reference, a troubleshooting guide !] which I thought might be found in in a user's guide.

IE search couldn't find it, so I had to download it again and this time select open instead of save, and save it from Adobe Reader. It seems to be more than an installation document, containing an operations section and specifications, quite useful really - thanks plodr
