Maple account hacked T_T

Hi fellow Geeks,
not sure is this a right place i should post this thread, hope you all wun mind and help me.
My beloveded maplestory account of about 4 years was hacked a few days ago.

I am very sure no body not even my closest people knows about my password. Thus i am really anxious what's going on.

Worst thing, how did the stupid hacker interested in me!?!?!? I am jus a noob character of level 40, i very very upset for the entire day cos all my mesos are gone.

I just downloaded PC Tools Sypware Doctor and had 113 infection.
To my horror what i was told was true, indeed it was hacked due to keylogger.

Trojan-Spy.Gampass-
Trojan-Spy.Gampass is a malicious application that attempts to steal passwords, login details, and other confidential information. It can also downloads other malicious files and automatically execute it into victim's machine.


Now i really wish to get rid of it off my com FOREVER.
But i am computer noob i duno anything, could anyone tell me what should i do now?

You may want to contact support for a password reset. They may be able to help you.

Sorry to see that happen to you. I know it sucks as I've been there before.

Definitely go through the guide PCLover linked you to. The most common and easiest way to get passwords to accounts like these is through a keylogger, and if you have one of those on your PC, the hacker has your email passwords, your banking info and a whole other bunch of juicy information that you really don't want others to have. Change your passwords, all of them, from another computer that you have no malware on.

Oh, and also contact Maplestory's customer support and tell them about this, and ask them if they can reverse some of the things the hacker did to your account. It's worth asking, at least.

 

I know people on Maple who were hacked and were able to recover there mesos and items so there is a good chance the same will happen for you

I played maple on beta for a year or two and official for a year and hackers are very rampant in that mmo. Just be careful what links you click!!!
