i have been out of school for quite a while and have a chance to win a contest if i answer a skill testing question correctly. the question is (63/9)x2+7-11, i know it's seems easy enough to answer but i seem to recall something to do with the "brackets" that would change the answer that i came up with (10). your help is much appreciated.

What can you win, and is it something you can share with everyone who helps you get the right answer?

The parentheses takes priority followed by division, then multiplication, then the order of the addition or subtraction. In this example, the parentheses here doesn't matter, the answer would have been the same - 10.
