maxifiles Ip address located

Dear all
Recently i have had very strange pop ups, i will type in BBC, click on the link and then get redirected, i keep pressing the back button and then finaly get me back to the google page, in the process of going back i managed to get an ip address, i used ip locator,the ip address,87.98.128.30. is registered to France ha.maxifiles.com.
Do you think its possible for me to track down the company and sue the arse off them for invading my computer with a spyware program? or even going over there and beating crap out of them for doing this, ok last line just a joke.

Alternativerly, groups of people bombarding their systems with emails.

i have run Hijackthis, am not realy sure wht to do next, i have a log of the scan.
Should i copy the text from the log and post or should i attach the file.

We can only help you by getting the logs we need from you. I think you'll find that your computer will begin to get better as you go along. The fastest way to the end is through the middle!
