maybe getting new motherboard

i have a emchine motherboard but i changed the grpahics card ram and powersuplly. now im thinking of getting a new motherboard and i was wondering should i get a new porcceser too or just stick with my athlon 64 3200+ 2.00

 

Depends what vid card you have installed and if you play alot of games,anything below a single 6800 I'd say dont bother you wont see much if any improvement to make it worth spending the money

If you have 7800gtx get a A64x2

 

i have an x850 ati radeon saphfire versiion. 2 gigs of ram

 

Which cpu were you looking to upgrade to?

 

not somthing big maybe just a athlon 64 4000+ or somthing i just dont want a porcceser that comes with a emachine computer.

 

Hmmm border line IMO, you should see a noticable improvement in framerate,I'd say around 10fps in most games but they'r gonna cost you a couple of hundred dollars,if you use high resolutions the difference would be less noticable
