MBAM freezes at "DivXCodecUpdateChecker.exe

howdy
iwe got a problem n im following ths instructions in READ & RUN ME FIRST (http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407). when running
MBAM (http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=154672) it freezes ("Application not responding" in the task manager for >1 hour) when it gets to the file "DivXCodecUpdateChecker.exe" in C:\WINDOWS\system32.

what am i supposed to do? skip this step and proceed with the rest, or what?

this is 1st time i visit ur site (as well as the 1st time i got serious malware problem) and i am impressed with your clear n detailed instructions ... even a computer illiterate like myself understand it ... great job!:-D
