McAfee Detects Adware-Look2Me

    Hello all,

    I have done all usual steps such as running antispyware tools (Spybot, Ad-Aware, etc...multiple programs). I have even tried to look for others with this Look2Me thing and I have followed steps there as well. Nothing has worked so far.

    I have (attempted to) used Look2Me Destroyer (wouldn't re-start after the 1 minute thing) and Vundofix (it went on for about 20 minutes, which seemed excessive to me but if this is not the case, tell me). I have attempted to fix this with HJT myself but I do not have enough experience and don't want to mess anything up.
    Also should be noted that previous to this I had Security Toolbar 7.1 infection, but that has been fixed as well as the browser's hijacked home page.

    I have been working on this for days with no luck. Please help! (HJT log below)

    Interesting! We have not seen too many Look2ME infections for quite some time.

    Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    Sorry for the problem!

    As I have stated, I have gone through that procedure. Log is attached.

    Sorry but no you have not. If you did you would have attached all of the requested logs and you would not have HijackThis installed incorrectly. HijackThis is the very last thing we need not the first. In addition, if you had run the procedure I gave in message number 2, some (not all) of your infections would already be gone. For example, your PurityScan infection would already be fixed or at least rendered benign and some aspects of your Vundo infection would also have been fixed.
