   Has anyone had this before, I have a client who had a few machines which when the users log on in the morning this process pretty much maxes out the machines for 10 minutes and up , pretty much bringing the machine to a halt.
   
   Any help would be great ...
   
   He is running XP Sp2 on the machines and McAfee 8.0 patch 16 run by ePO.

   This is not a malware issue ....so I would suggest uninstalling McAfee, running CCleaner ( both the cleaner and the issues - making the backup when prompted) and then reboot and re-install McAfee.
   
   If you still have problems, you should post in the software section.
