Me and Version 2.0 at the Syracuse auto show

Took my son to the auto show today and we just a blast. I let him run all over the place looking at all the cars... it was his utopia!

 

He is just adorable Kodo You are very blessed!

 

And the scarey thing is, I can see where he gets his attributes from

Looks like he had a great time though

 

He's a cute little guy Kodo, your a lucky man. He will remember that day years from now, "going to the Car Show with my dad".

We had a great time. Mike especially enjoyed the corvette.
Here's a funny for you. We walked over to the Mitsubishi's and Mike saw an eclipse. One of the Mitsubishi sales guys walked over to talk to me and Mike turns around and goes.. "Look Daddy! and Eeee-clipse! ".. the saleman was apparently rather shocked at Mike's ability to not only recognize but also pronounce the name the of the car. It was quite funny.. the guys face was priceless I took a picture right after.. (pic 1280 in the first post).

lol..everytime I put him in the drivers seat, he tell me to close the door.. followed by "BYE DADDY!! DON'T DRIVE TOO FAST!!! " lol.

I like the name Mike, too. I have a pet theory that people with 'traditional' first names may have a slight edge in opportunities as they go through life. Kind of a subliminal effect like a nostalgia trigger. JMHO

 

I spent yesterday entertaining a friend's cute kid through the superbowl. I love those infectious giggles and cute smiles

Yeah, both of our kids were Caesarean Section, for medical reasons, too. Sadly, we lost one before each success too, so we didn't push our luck any more, after having a son and a daughter.

 

Doctors love doing C sections these days. There is a less chance of litigation.

Oh, cars. I'll take an '05 'stang GT, '06' 'vette Z06, '06 Camaro, and the '08 Challenger. Now to come up with the money.

This thread made me ponder my own mortality.

There is no mini me, or Version 2.0.

And if I had one, he or she would need a patch.


So if I die, that's the end of the bloodline. No more Insomniacs.

Those are inspiring pics, and since the auto show hits Chitown this weekend, I'm taking my boy.....He will be in his glory, and probably won't sleep for days, but it will be awesome.
Still can't believe how big your kid is....I thought he was just born the other day.

Okay, last one. Wish I would have got a shot of the rear of this car, but it was getting late, and the little tike was tired. So was I! We walked the whole thing, took us about 4 hours. We both slept like logs last night. I'm so glad we went. I think we'll make it a tradition.
