    Hello all,

I have an old desktop running Windows ME, and I would like to upgrade the system to Windows XP. I currently have a Windows XP SP1 reinstallation disk for use with another home computer, can I use this same reinstallation disk to ugrade my machine with Windows ME to XP? (please note that I want to upgrade and not reformat).

    Thanks for any help.

No since it is only a single use license. You need to purchase an upgrade CD.
