Medal of Honor Freezing

When I play Medal of Honor Spearhead on my PC, it runs fine until I quit the game. When I quit the game it goes back to the Desktop as usual but my PC is frozen, I cant do anything. Also, the 'tray' near the time down the bottom right is like blocked out with either a blue or white block. Even CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't work. The only thing I can do is hold in the power button on the tower which is annoying after every time I play, but even doing this I only have to hold it in for half a second and the task manager comes up and everything is fine but by then its too late and its already shutting down. This didn't used to happen, only in the past few weeks.

I don't have anything running apart from being in a Skype call (which freezes aswell once I leave the game) and xfire running in the back ground which I've done ever since I started playing this game years ago.

Always turn off anti virus checker when I play and no cheats installed or anything either.
